I decided I'll try my hand at raising a newborn with my lvl 212 and 208 dire wolves and went to the wiki to find out how to do so, well I made the mistake in reading and doing things in steps.
So you're telling me I have to hand feed this little ♥♥♥♥ for 5 hours? That's a little ridiculous.., well time to turn my monitor towards my couch and afk.

On an official server then? I think on my server I have the maturation rate set to like 10x so that I only have to hand feed them for like 30 minutes at the most before they can feed off the trough.

Yep official. I haven't complained really about anything in this game as of yet, most of it is fair but looking at breeding times the reward isn't really worth it. If this pup wasn't so cute and I had the guts to let it die I'd be going to bed lol.

My tribe is made up of local friends in the same time zone and all eight of us have the same limitation. Thankfully I have tomorrow (er today) off
only need to feed for maybe 2 hour carefully, after that u just spend less time around base and it goes to stasis, if u do stay in base just feed now and then its not as bad as that it just wont eat from a trough orr have alot of weight early in baby stage

Just time it so that its before you go to bed... Get iit to Juvenile. Fill it full of Cooked Meet and a trough full of cooked meat. Log off. got to bed. Go to work. Come home and you have a almost done wolf feed as needed.
Well you dont need to stand face to face with it for 5 hours, the first 20-30mins maybe but once its weight is up abit you can run away to do your daily stuff and just come back with more meat. :P

Ya I'm seeing this now that it's at around 13 weight. I thought I would be feeding it like 5 meat at a time lol.

This is exactly why I tell everyone it's a miracle my RL children lived to adulthood.
